WOW SADDLES
WANT a comfortable, unique taylor made saddle just for you and your horse?
Then try WOW saddles newly imported by my fantastic sponsor Julia McLean of
Kiah Equine. Once you sit in them you cant help but say the word....."WOW". Not
only can riders choose their preferred seat, flap and knee roll with panel and
girthing options that come together in a saddle designed for both horse and rider
but they get a saddle packed with highly desirable features.

Also imported are the Korector pads. This is an innovative idea of air bags inside
the pad. You can inflate the pad according to the horses shape and saddle fit. It is
great for horses with sore backs, loss of muscle in an area and fantastic for
horses with very high narrow withers. It stops saddles from having pressure points
which leads to back problems and makes for a more comfortable ride for your
horse.

Dear Readers,
To my dear readers and supporters,

For those who don't know the exciting news, Algebra and I have been upgraded to the NATIONAL ELITE SQUAD for the 2012 Olympics.
That means we are one step closer to make the team for London!! Currently the plans are to run Algebra at the Sydney event at
Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) on the 25th of February. I will be taking him slowly being his first event out, but then it will
be full steam ahead to try and win the Albury CIC*** which is on the 1st of April. The other plan is to go to New Zealand for the Trans
Tasman event in Khihiki on the 6th to the 8th of April. This could be a costly exercise, but going to Kiwi land on a short trip for practice
for the "real thing" could also work to our advantage and approach to London.

The final aim is to compete at the selection event in Sydney for the 3 day event which is held from the 27th to the 29th of April. Time is
flying already and this event is only 10 weeks away.

In the meantime we are running many fund raising campaigns to help towards competing at these events, and the ongoing training
towards the games. We have a new website running
www.nalgebra.com . This is thanks to Algebra's owners Julia Mclean and John
Glenn bringing in the wonderful marketing expert Charlie from Charlie Designs. Through this you can follow our journey towards London
and hopefully beyond. We have chocolates selling, thanks to my family and close friends who have volunteered to do so. We are also
running a function at the Canberra Horse Trials Event on the 21st of April in conjunction with their event. There are many other activities
planned which can be viewed on the Nalgebra site and if anyone would like to help out with any such activities it would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks to Bec and James of How High products for supplying Sammi with some great looking stable boots.
They are a great idea and takes the time and worry out of bandaging horses!! They provide unreal protection,
are good to use for floating also!! Now available with Magnetic strips. Check out Bec and James website as
they are doing online orders for these boots, plus alot more other products from riding boots, clothing, bridles
etc all imported and sold at a very reasonable price. Online orders are available.

EXCITING PROPERTY DEVELOPMENTS
Whilst I am trying to make an Olympic bid, I am also trying to set up my property for the future. Brad my partner, myself and Tori(groomy) are renting a house
about 25 minutes away in Dalton. On the block we are continually "roughing it". My tack room and office resides in the small caravan. Feed shed in the horse
float, and the rest of the gear is piled not so tidily in the truck. We tie up our horses in the round yard (so they don't escape and run around the 35 acre block).
The old feed ute works when it feels like it. We pump water from the dam to water up to 17 horses and on the odd occasion hose them from the fire fighter
hose(also from the dam). We use my little Festi to pile bags of feed in which we buy from HOME Hardware in Yass.
Whilst there are constant challenges in running my operation, I feel that I am lucky to be able to own a block of land. However I am very glad that in the near
future, with the sale of Apache Cat, that I am able to buy a small shed that will fit two stables in it and a tack room. HOORAY!! We have had the council
approval, so hopefully by March we will be under cover!!! This will also mean we can have tank water for us to drink!! Funny how the little things you miss are
so important.

Karl from Over the Top Yards and equipment has offered to build Algebra a shelter for his paddock which is just awesome!! So things are happening, all be it
slow, but progress is being made all the same.

WALLABY HILL ODE

We have already embarked on our first event for the year at Wallaby Hill near Robertson in the southern highlands. We had a fantastic weekend weather
wise and the horses performed well. My Aladdin finished on his dressage score for a final 4th placing, whilst Girl with a Curl ended up 5th in the 1 star. We
had a considerable lead going into the cross country phase, but unfortunately Molly refused at the water jump. There is nothing like a horse to bring you
back down to earth when you think everything is going well!

Left, that darned water jump that brought Molly and I undone.                             Pictured below  the spectacular indoor arena at Wallaby Hill.
